Full Description
Freehold condominium ownership in Koh Samui remains genuinely limited. Zoning restrictions across the island mean that new developments offering outright foreign freehold title are few, and The Ville Condo in Chaweng is one of a small number of new projects currently offering this ownership structure. Under the Thai Condominium Act, foreign buyers can purchase units directly in their own name with permanent ownership rights, full resale capability and the ability to pass the property to heirs. Buyers are required to provide a Foreign Exchange Transaction (FET) Form confirming that funds originated from abroad.
The Ville Condo is a 40-unit, four-storey low-rise development beside Chaweng Lake in the centre of Koh Samui’s main tourist and commercial district. One-bedroom units range from 41 to 50 sqm and two-bedroom units are 62 sqm. The building offers both sea view and city view units, with the lakeside setting providing a natural backdrop while keeping residents within a short distance of Chaweng’s beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Central Samui mall is one minute away, Bangkok Hospital Samui is five minutes, and Samui International Airport is around ten minutes.
Communal facilities include a swimming pool with sun terrace overlooking the lake, a fully equipped fitness centre, a professional lobby and 24-hour security. The monthly community fee is 50 THB per sqm, covering maintenance of all communal areas. Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2026 with completion expected within 12 to 15 months. The payment structure runs from a 100,000 THB reservation deposit, followed by 30% on contract signing, then staged payments of 30%, 20% and 20% through the construction phases.
